Activate extended rights management
Extended
rights management is available in the Enterprise package. Advanced rights management is used to assign
permissions to the contents of a folder or file to groups of users. Before
you can use extended rights management, this function must first be activated
in a data room. Only the creator or administrator of a data room can activate
extended rights management.
Proceed as follows:
- Open
the 3-dot menu in the toolbar at the top right.
- Open
the "Box settings" of a data room.
- Open
the "ERM" tab.
- Activate
the ERM via the checkbox.
- This
makes the extended rights management in this data room available to you.
Attention: Once an ERM has been activated in a data room, it cannot be deactivated again!
If you no longer wish to use the ERM in a data room, you must delete the whole data room (after you have backed up all content) and recreate it.
