Upon registration, the users’ accounts are activated. You can deactivate activated user accounts or reactivate deactivated accounts in the user administration.
Deactivate user accounts
1. Select User
on the sidebar.
The user administration is displayed and provides an overview of all users.
2. Select the Additional options icon to the very right in the row of the user whose account you would like to deactivate.
3. In
the context menu, select Deactivate
users
The user account is deactivated. After deactivation, users no longer have
access to their user accounts and the data contained therein.
Activate user accounts
1. Select User
on the sidebar.
The user administration is displayed and provides an overview of all users.
2. Select the Additional options icon to the very right in the row of the user whose account you would like to reactivate.
3. In
the context menu, select Activate users.
The user account is reactivated. Upon activation, users once again have access
to their user accounts and the data contained therein.
Batch actions
You can also use batch actions to deactivate or reactivate the user accounts of individual users. These functions may be quicker to access if your user overview is very extensive.
You can also use batch actions to deactivate or reactivate multiple user accounts at the same time. Also refer to Change the user status for multiple users at the same time.
