You are owner or manager of the box the settings of which you want to change.
To change the settings of a present box:
1. Select the More options icon on the right side of the box the settings of which you want to change.
2. Select
Edit Box from the context menu.
The Edit Box dialog is displayed. Select
from the following options:
● Name & Box type to change name, description or box type.
You can change name and description by entering the changes into the
corresponding fields. You can change the box type by selecting the corresponding
box type.
PrivacyBoxes can be changed into temporary boxes and vice versa. Changing
PrivayBoxes or temporary boxes into a data room requires the corresponding
permission. Data rooms cannot be changed into another box type.
● General settings to change backup or access settings. You can activate or deactivate the backup function using the Backup active toggle switch. Below Access settings, select:
● Access for Box members only to allow only box members to access the box.
● Generate Box-Link to allow users that are non-box members or do not have an idgard account to access the box.
● Default permissions to change the predefined permissions that are valid for the box.
● Data Room settings to change journal-related settings like Journal entry on bulk download or Don`t record read / download activities
or to enforce the agreement on the terms of usage the data room.
The Data Room settings option is
only available for the box type data room.
3. Select the Save icon in the top app bar to save the box settings.
