Create e-mail template for registrations

Email template for invitations

This function is only available in the Enterprise package. If you have admin permissions in the idgard® account, you can create a customized text for user registration. This text will be used if you have activated the automatic sending of the registration text (Send invitations via server).

However, the customized text will also be used for manual invitations via the “Send invitation text” function in the user’s profile. If you use this manual function, you will be able to edit the text in your email client. You can change this text in the Administration area at any time or replace it with the standard text provided by the system.

   

Proceed as follows:

  • Open “Administration” on the left sidebar.
  • Click on the “3-dot” menu in the top-right corner of the toolbar.
  • Select “Enterprise settings.”
  • Go to the “Customization” tab.
  • Scroll to “Email templates.”
  • Under Invitation, select “Create new version.”
  • Select a language. (The templates have to be created for each language.)
  • Enter a “Subject” for the template.
  • Create a customized text or select the standard text for the email template. The terms ${name} and ${link} are variables. They are filled in by the program and may not be changed.
  • Save this template.
