Data room archive

In some professions it is necessary to archive documents. For this purpose, you can create a data room archive with idgard.
This data room is available forever after conversion into an archive and thus secures all documents in this data room.


This is how you proceed:

  1. Go to the data room that you want to archive.
  2. Click on the three dots in the top right-hand corner and go to the “Box settings”.
  3. There, under “Box Information”, select the “DATA ROOM” tab (top right) in which you can activate the “Archive Data Room”.




Attention: The license for this data room is then permanently blocked and must be paid for until the end of the entire contract period!

Documents, folders and files can no longer be edited or deleted after archiving.

Archiving cannot be reset!
Once archived, a data room remains an active archive for your documents forever and must be paid for.

Data rooms are only available in the packages Growth and Enterprise!
