Data room index


The "Data room" function is included in the Growth and Enterprise license packages. To display the files, notes and folders contained in the data room in a clear table, you can create and export a data room index. In the member list of the data room, you can set which members are allowed to use the "Export index" function.






This is how you proceed:



  • Open the data room by clicking on the name or icon in the overview.

  • Open the "3-dot" menu in the toolbar at the top right.
    • ​
  • Select "Box settings".

  • Select "Export index".

  • Select from the drop-down list whether "Folders" or "Files, notes and folders" should be listed in the data room index.

  • Under "Format", select the desired file format (PDF, XML or XSLX).

  • Select "Export".

The data room index is saved in your computer's download directory.


Important: The index is not available for data rooms with activated ERM (extended rights management)!
