Delete boxes

Boxes can be deleted manually, even temporary boxes before their defined time period has expired. When boxes are deleted, their content is deleted, even the content that you may have downloaded to your mobile device. The delete process may affect original files. Therefore, make sure that there is an additional copy of files that you still need.

If you delete boxes for which you are the owner, then the box is deleted. If you delete boxes for which you are not the owner, then only your access to the box is deleted, not the box itself. In this case, you are not a member of the box anymore.

 

To delete one or more boxes:

1.   Select and hold the box that you want to delete.
The box is marked with a green check mark.

2.   If you want to delete more boxes, select more boxes.
The selected boxes are marked with a green check mark. How many boxes you have selected is displayed in the top app bar.

3.   Select the More options icon in the top app bar.

4.   Select Delete from the context menu.
A confirmation dialog is displayed.

5.   Select from the following options:

●    Cancel if you do not want to delete the box.

●    Delete Box(es) if you want to delete the box.
The box, its content and the content that you have downloaded to your mobile device is deleted.
