Granting read permissions to Box members
Granting read
permissions to Box members
With read-only access, a member of the Box can open
and download files. Users with read permissions can see all files and folders
in a Box and which person uploaded a file and on which date. The read
permission is only valid for the Box to which this read permission has been
granted. If the user is a member of another Box, other permission must be
assigned to them there.
Proceed as follows:
- Open the 3-dot menu in the upper right corner of
the green bar
- Open the "Members" section
- You are now in the member administration menu
- Activate the permission "Read"
After you have assigned the permissions, save your
settings.
