Create a folder structure

If you would like to use a folder structure in a Box, you first need to create folders. Any full license user can create a new folder, provided they have write permission for this Box.

Proceed as follows:

Open the Box.

Navigate to the location where you want to create the folder.

Select “New folder.”

Give the folder a name.

The folder name cannot end with a period. The name may not contain the following characters: - / “ $ ? \ * :<> |

Click on “Create folder.”

It is not possible to move a Box or folder. If you would like to move a Box or folder, please use functions provided in the idgard® web app.
