Temporary Box

If the function to create Boxes is inactive, please contact the administrator of your idgard® account. The administrator can assign you the required permissions. The “Create Box” button is only active for users that have the appropriate permission. Temporary Boxes, including all Box contents, are automatically deleted by the system after a certain period of time (x days after their creation). The time of deletion can be changed by the Box owner, provided that the maximum lifetime for new temporary Boxes is not  exceeded. In the Box overview, temporary Boxes are indicated by the clock icon   to the left of the Box name.

  • Optionally, you can select the following Box properties: “Backup active,” “Recycle bin,” or “Limit access period.” You can change these features later.
  • Click on “Next” again.
