idgard® app for Microsoft Teams: Delete objects

idgard® app for Microsoft Teams: Delete objects

Delete files, folders, or messages

When you delete files, they cannot be restored, unless you have purchased Sealed Backup and have activated it for the Box or use the “recycle bin” feature. As a user, you require delete permission to delete the files of other Box members. If you do not have this permission, you can only delete your own files, folders, or messages.

Proceed as follows:

  • Open the Box.
  • Select the element you would like to delete using the check box.
  • Then click on “ Delete .”

Before the element is deleted, a corresponding warning will be displayed.

If the “recycle bin” feature is activated, the deleted object is moved to the recycle bin in the idgard® web app. The Box owner can restore a deleted object in the idgard® web app.
