idgard® app for Microsoft Teams: Upload files to a Box
Upload files
You can upload one or more files. At a minimum, you need “Write” permission to upload files. There are two ways to upload files: You can use the “Upload file” function to upload files to a Box or you can drag files from your computer into the Box using Drag & Drop.
Proceed as follows:
- Open a Box. Open the desired storage location.
- Select “ Upload file .”
- When idgard® accesses your computer, select the file(s).
- Search for the file on your computer or network and select “ Open ” to attach it to idgard®. The selected file will be uploaded.
- Alternatively, you can also select the desired file on your computer and drag it to the storage location in your Box while holding down the mouse button. When you release the mouse button, the file is uploaded to the Box.
- You can track the upload status of the file via the progress bar.
It is not possible to move a Box or
folder. If you would like to move a Box or folder, please use the idgard® web
app.
