idgard® iOS App: Two-factor authentication via fingerprint scanner
Use biometrics feature as two-factor recognition
You can secure access to the idgard® iOS app via a fingerprint. Before doing so, this function must be activated in your iOS device. Please use the instructions of your device
manufacturer to set up this function.
Proceed as follows:
- You set up the fingerprint on your iPad or iPhone, following the instructions provided by the manufacturer of your iOS device.
- Log in to the idgard® iOS app.
- Open the settings in the footer of the idgard® iOS app.
- Activate the "Touch ID" function via the slider.
- The fingerprint as two-factor recognition is now available for every login.
If you want to deactivate this function again, open the settings in the idgard® iOS app and deactivate the function "Touch-ID" via the slider.
