idgard® iOS app: Viewing a PDF file

Bookmarks, thumbnail view, page layout

If your PDF file contains bookmarks, you can access these individually in the idgard® iOS app. Use conventional software to add bookmarks. The individual bookmarks will appear when you click on the book icon.

Once you have opened the PDF file, you can turn the individual pages in the  idgard® iOS app  or jump to a specific page by clicking on the page number. You can find this feature at the bottom of the PDF file.

Click on the tile icon in the top-right corner and the individual pages of the PDF file will appear in thumbnail view. The thumbnail view enables you to navigate through the PDF file quickly.

The cog icon is where you can find the page layout display features. Choose whether you want to view the pages of the PDF file in a horizontal or vertical scroll direction, select the background color against which the pages should be displayed and pick the page transition. Download permission (read permission) is required as a minimum to be able to open a PDF file.
