idgard® PW:Marking objects "as read" or "as unread”

The box view corresponds to an overview of the box in the idgard® web app. You are online in the box view.  As in the idgard® web app, you can also mark objects such as new files, folders or messages as read. If you want to see the changes in the cloud, you may have to refresh the view with the F5 key. In the local directory on your computer, unread/new objects are not recognizable as such.



Proceed as follows:

  1. Open the system tray   in the task bar on your computer.
  1. Click once with the left mouse button on the green ID icon   .
  1. The box list opens.
  2. To open a box in the box view, left click twice on the box name.
  3. Objects that are new and unread are displayed with a number in a red circle and are arranged at the top of the list of files as in the idgard® web app.
  4. Select the file/message/folder you want to mark as read via the checkbox.
  1. Click on the bell icon  at the top.

If you want to mark an object as unread, select it again using the checkbox and click the bell icon.
