Keeping the idgard® iOS App Session Open

The idgard® iOS app applies the session timeout set in the web app. Once the session timeout has been reached, the idgard® iOS app closes upon renewed use. If you would like that the set time be ignored for the session in the idgard® iOS app, activate the “Persistent session” slider in the iOS app settings.

We only recommend the “Persistent session” setting despite inactivity if you are highly certain your iOS device cannot fall into the wrong hands. Because if this happens, the session could still exist and the thief of your device could also get access to your data in idgard®.

Activate/deactivate the function via a slider in the app settings. You can find the settings at the bottom of the screen.
