idgard® iOS App: Locking/Unlocking Documents

Locking/Unlocking Documents in the idgard® iOS App

If you want to include changes in a file and make them available to other Box members, you should first “lock” the file. A locked file signals to other Box members who is changing the contents of the file. It can be downloaded by other Box members, but cannot be moved, renamed or deleted while locked. To edit a file, you need download, upload and delete permissions.

Proceed as follows:

  1. T ap the document.
  2. A dialog appears with various options.
  3.   Select the “Lock” option.
  4. The lock icon under the document indicates that it is locked.
  5.   To unlock a document, repeat the process and select “Unlock.”
