Within a box, you can manage the box members and add members, remove members or edit their permissions. Precondition is that you are owner or manager of the box.
To invite new members to the box:
1. Open the box to which you want to invite members.
2. Select the More options icon in the top app bar.
3. Select
Members / Guests / Permissions from
the context menu.
The members of the box are displayed.
4. Select
the Plus icon.
An overview of the members of your organisation is displayed.
5. Select the members that you want to invite to the box.
6. Select the Save icon in the top app bar.
A confirmation dialog is displayed.
7. Select
Add user(s) to confirm the
selection.
The users are now members of the box.
To remove members from the box:
1. Open the box from which you want to remove members.
2. Select the More options icon in the top app bar.
3. Select
Members / Guests / Permissions from
the context menu.
The members of the box are displayed.
4. Select
the members that you want to remove from the box. To do so hold the name.
An activated check box is displayed next to the user.
5. Select the Recycle bin icon in the top app
bar.
A confirmation dialog is displayed.
6. Select
Remove user(s) to confirm the
selection.
The selected members are removed from the box.
To edit the permissions of members:
1. Open the box in which you want to edit member permissions.
2. Select the More options icon in the top app bar.
3. Select
Members / Guests / Permissions from
the context menu.
The members of the box are displayed.
4. Select
the member whose permissions you want to edit.
Name, company, email address, role and permissions of the member are displayed.
5. Below Manager, select one of the following options:
● Activate the toggle switch if you want to grant the member the manage and modify permission. This permission automatically activates all other permissions.
● Deactivate the toggle switch if you want to grant the member individual permissions only.
6. Activate and deactivate the following toggle switches as desired:
● Read for viewing and downloading files and messages
● Write for uploading files and creating notes
● Delete for deleting files, notes and chats
● Members for seeing the list of members, adding and inviting members
● Chat for reading and sending chat messages
● View journal for viewing the data room journal
7. Select
the Save icon in the
top app bar.
The permissions of the box member are stored.
