Open idgard in offline mode

You can also use idgard in offline mode. In this mode, you can access your data without internet connection.

Prerequisites for using idgard in offline mode:

●    Offline mode is activated.

●    You have made the data that you want to access offline available offline. You can make boxes or only folders of a box available offline.

 

Your sign-in data for idgard for Android are identical to the sign-in data for the web app.

 

To make data available offline:

1.   Select the Further options symbol on the right side of the box or folder the content of which you want to make available offline.

2.   Select Available offline from the context menu.
The content of the selected object is available offline and you can access it in offline mode without internet connection.

 

To start idgard in offline mode:

1.   Open idgard.
The sign-in screen is displayed.

2.   Enter your user name into the User name field.
This is your email address.

3.   Enter your password into the Password field.

4.   Activate the toggle switch Start app in offline mode if you want to use the app in offline mode.

5.   Select Sign in.
You see an overview of all boxes that contain files that you have made available offline. Boxes the objects of which you do not made available offline are not visible. If visible boxes contain objects that you have not made available offline, then these objects have a gray background and are not available.
