Overview of user permissions in a PrivacyBox

Here you have an overview of how the users’ permissions (read, write, delete) affect the editing of content in the Box.

It is divided into two areas:

  • In the upper area, you will find the permissions of guest license users as well as full license users with the "Member" role.
  • The permissions the manager and creator of the Box are shown in the lower area.

You can set these permissions in the member management menu of the Box. Only the Box creator or the manager can assign permissions to members.

Users can always view, lock, rename, move their own files to own folder and delete their own data and folder. This does not require any permissions.
