Permission to view and export journal contents in the Data Room

Viewing and exporting journal contents


Data Rooms are included in the Growth and Enterprise packages. The “Journal” permission allows Data Room members to view activities and events performed/triggered by members in the journal. Users who are authorized to view the journal may also be granted permission to export its contents. This permission can only be granted to fully-licensed users. Journals are not available for PrivacyBoxes.



Proceed as follows:

  1. Click on the 3-dot menu in the top-right corner of the toolbar.
  2. Open the “Members ” section.
  3. You are now in the member list .
  4. Activate the “View journal” permission in the checkbox of the fully-licensed user.
  5. Optionally, you can also activate the “Export journal ” permission. In order for users to be able to export journals, the “View journal” permission must first be checked.
