Permission to view the members management menu of a Box

If a member is given the permission "Members" in the member administration menu of the Box, they will be able to access the list of all existing Box members. They also can see the following data of other members

  • Name
  • E-mail address
  • Company
  • License
  • Role
  • Permission s

If you want to prevent other members from viewing this data, make sure that the "Member" permission remains deactivated.  After you have granted the permissions, save your settings.

To assign a permission to a member
  1. Open the 3-dot menu in the upper right corner of the green bar
  2. Open the "Members" section
  3. You are now in the member administration menu
  4. Activate the permission "members"
After you have assigned the permissions, save your settings.

The right to see the member list has no effect on the file view.
