When members leave their organization or company, their user accounts are generally deactivated or deleted. As a result, their Boxes including all contents are lost.
If their Box contents should be continued to be used, you can reassign their licenses in the user administration. This allows other members of the organization or company to take over the Boxes and continue to manage or edit them.
To assign new licenses, proceed as follows:
1. Select User
on the sidebar.
The user administration is displayed and provides an overview of all users.
2. Select the Additional options icon to the very right in the row of the user whose license you would like to reassign.
3. In
the context menu, select Manage user.
The user account is displayed on the right side of the screen, and in it, the
tab Details.
4. Select the tab Access.
5. In the Reassign license area, in the New email address field, enter the email address of the user who will take over the license.
6. Select
Reassign.
A confirmation dialog is displayed.
7. Select
Reassign.
The license is assigned to the owner of the email address.
8. Select
the Copy icon next to the registration link.
The registration link is copied to the clipboard.
9. Select Save.
10. Send
the registration link to the user who will take over the license.
This registration link provides the new license owner access to the previous
license owner’s Boxes and their contents.
