Record dictations in the idgard® iOS App

Record a voice message

The dictation function app of your iOS device can be used to record dictations and upload them directly to the currently displayed folder/box. Activate the microphone function in the settings of your iOS device and use the instructions from the manufacturer of your device. A user can perform this function only if he has at least the rights to download and upload.



Proceed as follows:

  1. Open a box.
  2. Navigate to the location of the voicemessage.
  3. Tap on the "plus icon" at the top right.
  4. Select the "Record a voice message" function.
  5. Give the voice message a name.
  6. Activate the microphone to start recording.
  7. If you want to end the recording or interrupt recording, tap on the End-Symbol  .
  8. To play back the recording or start recording tap on the "arrow symbol" .
  9. Tap on "Save" to record the voice message into the box.
