idgard® iOS App: Recording Videos

Recording Videos with the idgard® iOS App


You can record videos using the camera app of your iOS device and upload them directly to the currently displayed folder/Box. Activate the microphone and camera function in the settings of your iOS device and follow the instructions of your device manufacturer. The idgard® iOS app accepts the videos created by your device. A user can perform this function only if he has at least the rights to download and upload.

 


Proceed as follows:

  1. Open the Box.
  2. Navigate to the desired storage location.
  3. Tap the "plus icon"   in the top-right corner.
  4.   Select “Record a video.”
  5. Follow the instructions of your device manufacturer.
  6. If you would like to upload the video to the Box, tap “use video" in the footer.
  7. You can create additional videos using the “retake” option.
  8. If you would like to track the upload process, switch to the Box overview and tap “Activities.”
