You can load new and existing MS Office files or MS Office files that are already saved in your idgard boxes, in new idgard boxes. It is therefore possible to create new idgard boxes during the save operation.
To
save MS Word files in new boxes:
1. In the open MS Word file, select the idgard
menu.
The idgard menu is displayed. The options Open
and Save are available.
2. Select Save.
The idgard log-in dialog is displayed on the right side of the screen.
3. Enter your user name and password and select Login.
The box overview is displayed.
4. Select the symbol Create new box.
The Box options are displayed.
5. Enter the name of the new Box to be created in the Name of the box field.
6. Enter a pass code in the Pass code field if you would like to use a pass code to protect the Box from unauthorized access. You can also use a random number generator to generate a pass code. Select
● the Copy icon next to the pass code to copy the pass code.
● the Refresh icon next to the pass code to generate a new pass code.
7. Enter an expiration date for the Box.
If you deactivate the Box expires
slider, a PrivacyBox that does not automatically get deleted is created.
8. Select the Calendar icon to set a date. The default setting is 90 days.
9. Select Create new box.
The box is created.
10. If you want to create a folder in the new box, select the new box
and within it the symbol Create new folder. Name the folder and select Create new folder.
A folder with the specified name is created in the new box.
11. Select Upload file.
idgard asks you to enter a file name.
12. Name the file and select Save.
idgard saves the file in the new box and if necessary in the new folder with
the specified name.
