Send direct link to files

After a user has uploaded a file, it can be sent to another Box member through a link. This makes it easier to find the file and the information about a new file is immediately available.
This function can be executed by both guest and full license users, provided that they have read and write permission.


Proceed as follows:
  1. You are in the list view
  2. Open the 3-dot menu in the line of the file
  3.  Select the function "Show direct link”
  1. Send the link to the members of your Box
  2. To access the file, the members of your Box must log in to idgard® and then copy the link into the address line of the browser
  3. The recipient of the link is presented with a dialog box on which they can download the file.

Alternatively:

Via the "Copy" icon on the right side of the field, you can copy the file link to the clipboard of your computer and transfer it to another application, e.g. e-mail client.
