Set time to live for TemporaryBoxes

Set time to live for TemporaryBoxes
Here you can define the maximum duration (in days) for a TemporaryBox. A full license user with permission to create TemporaryBoxes cannot exceed the default time to live. A TemporaryBox can exist for a maximum of 365 days. When creating a TemporaryBox, the full license user can specify for how long it should exist.  It is not possible to exceed the maximum duration specified in the administration. To set the maximum lifetime of TemporaryBoxes, you need the permission of an administrator.

TemporaryBoxes include the Box and the BoxMail Box.

Proceed as follows:

  • Open the "Administration" menu.
  • Open the "3-point" menu in the upper right corner of the green bar.
  • Select the "Enterprise settings".
  • Open the "Boxes" tap.
  • Scroll down to "Maximum expiration periods".
  • Enter the desired number of days.
Save your setting.
