You can allow idgard users or external parties to access a box. The access conditions like the number of allowed accesses, for instance, are defined in the box settings.

The Share Box function is only available for boxes that box members are allowed to access.

 

Prerequisites

You are owner or manager of the box that you want to share.

 

To share a box:

1.   Select the More options icon on the right side of the box that you want to share.

2.   Select Share Box from the context menu.
An overview of apps that are available for sharing is displayed.

3.   Select the app that you want to use for sharing the box link.
An email template is displayed. It contains subject, standard text and the box link.

4.   Enter name or email address of the recipient into the address field.

5.   Select the Send icon.
The message is sent to the recipient and the recipient can access the box using the box link.
