Transfer ownership of a Box

Transfer ownership of a Box

If you transfer the ownership of the creator of the box to another full license member of the box, that person assumes the rights of the creator. To the previous creator, idgard® assigns the role of box administrator. At the end, the new creator of the box can remove the administrator from the box if needed.

You use this function if:

  • The Box creator leaves the company
  • The project is to be taken over by another person

Proceed as follows:

  • Open the Box
  • Open the 3-dot menu in the upper right corner of the green bar
  • Select the "Box settings"
  • Open the "Transfer ownership" function
  • Select the desired full license member of the Box.

Complete the process by clicking on "Transfer Box ownership".
