In principle, it is also possible to perform larger downloads with WebDAV. Attention!: The following settings should only be carried out by experienced Windows PC users: Click on Start and enter the term regedit in the "Execution" field and confirm with the ENTER key. Depending on your user permissions, you must first answer a security question before the Registration Editor can be started.

In the registration editor follow the path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\WebClient\Parameters

In the “Parameters folder” you will find the entry FileSizeLimitInBytes. Double-click on the name to open the editor. Please enter there the maximum ffffffffff (eight times, hexadecimal code) and click on OK to save the value afterwards. Then close your registration editor and re-connect your WebDAV drive.

You may now download files up to the maximum size inherent to the operating system.
