idgard® iOS App: Editing Documents

Editing idgard® iOS App Documents

If you decide to edit the content of a file, you transfer it to a third-party app that can read that file format.  Then you re-save this document to the Box in idgard®. Please note there may be costs associated with the installation of other apps. To edit a document, the permission to download and upload must be available. If you want to edit a document that was uploaded by another user, the p to delete is also required. Without this, the document of another user cannot be locked.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Lock the Word document.
  2. Open the document in the idgard® iOS app.
  3. Tap the share icon in the top-right corner.
  4. Select the Word app or a similar app that recognizes Word documents.
  5. Edit the content of the document.
  6. Again use the Share feature and select the idgard® iOS app.
  7. Select the box and folder.
  8. Tap on "Upload".
  9. Unlock the Word document.

This instruction may differ depending on the app used.
