Role "Assistant" in a data room
Role "Assistant" in a data room
The
"Assistant" role can be found in the member administration of a data
room. It can only be assigned to a full license user. The assistant
should act as an stand-in for an Administrator with the "Room Assistant"
role. Unlike an Administrator, the Assistant cannot create any data
room.
You can assign one or more users the "Assistant" role by clicking the appropriate field in the "Role" column.
A member of a data room with the "Room Assistant" role can:
- Add other users to a data room
- See folders only, not files
- Open the box by clicking on the name of the box.
- Click on the "3 dots menu" in the toolbar on the top right.
- Select the "Members" option .
- Uncheck the "Show members only" option. This will offer you the available members in a table.
- User Pool. You will now see a table of users in your idgard® account. The visibility permissions in your profile determine which users are shown to you in the table. If you want to change this, contact the administrator of your idgard® account.
- Search field. To select a user from the table, you can use the search function. Select the search criterion to the left of the search field, whether you want to search for a name or an email address. Enter the full name or only a part of the name from the searched object. The search function is a filtering function. The more precise the information you enter, the fewer results you will see in the member list. You should enter at least three characters for the search function.
- Roles. You add the role Assistant to a user by changing the entry in the "Role" column to "Assistant". You will find this role only in data rooms. a PrivacyBox does not offer this role.
